Hazardous Chemicals

Chemsal provides collection and disposal services for a wide range of hazardous waste types. The range of hazardous wastes disposed of includes, but is not limited to:  flammable liquids, corrosives substances, toxic chemicals, oxidisers and reactives, acids, cleaning compounds, photographic chemical waste, batteries, biocides, pesticides, fluorescent tubes, HID lamps and asbestos

Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) 

BCD Technologies specialises in the safe, complete elimination of concentrated, chlorinated organic waste streams utilising base catalysed dechlorination and the patented PLASCON®, high temperature plasma arc technologies.

PCBs

Both pure PCB and oils contaminated with PCB are eliminated safely using the PLASCON® process, with no detectable residues in effluents and producing no harmful by-products at all.

Obsolete Pesticides

BCD Technologies also  utilises the PLASCON® process, coupled with thermal desorption to destroy a wide range of obsolete pesticides such as: Azinophos, DDE, Mitotane, 2,4 D, DDT, Nonachlor, 2,4,5 T,      Endosulfan ,  Permethrin , Carbaryl, Ethion, Oryzalin, Chlordane, Heptachlor, Trifluralin, Chlorpryifos, Limonene, Dichlorvos and  Malathion. BCD Technologies is contracted by the Australian Government to destroy pesticides collected from farms under name of program and to date has safely destroyed X tonnes. 

Contaminated Soils

Entech provides treatment technologies for soils containing a host of contaminants such as petroleum hydrocarbons, polyaromatic hydrocarbons, heavy metals, fluoride etc. These treatment technologies can be applied onsite whether the contamination is present or offsite at a purpose built treatment facility.
