    Chemsal provides a resource recovery and recycling service for a wide range of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals and chemical contaminated materials. These include; flammables, corrosives, toxic chemicals, oxidisers and reactives. General descriptions include: industrial chemical raw materials, obsolete finished product, defective product, byproducts, residue containers, contaminated rags and wipes.

    Chemsal offers a specialist service for resource recovery from the following forms of packaging: steel drums, tins, equipment-decontamination and shredding, plastic drums, pails, stretchwrap, pallets, cores, trays, rollers, reels caps and other packaging items.

    Metals 

    BCD Technologies, at its Narangba plant in Brisbane, destroys PCB oil and PCB-contaminated oil contained in obsolete electrical transformers and capacitors. Transformers contain significant quantities of copper and steel, which are decontaminated by use of a thermal desorption process resulting in the recovery of clean metal which is subsequently sold for recycling.

    Wastes and Byproducts

    Entech provides a range of technologies and services to assist clients in maximizing recycling and reuse opportunities. This includes provide the use of the TWM® waste and byproduct management and reporting system. In addition, a range of services are provided to facilitate the reuse of industrial byproducts in target markets.
